How to restore the Recycle Bin on your desktop

Issue

I have lost the Recycle bin on my desktop when I turn on my computer. How to find and restore it on my desktop?

For Vista / Seven:
- Click on "Start Menu / All Programs / Accessories / Windows Explorer".
- In the left column, select "Recycle Bin" and drag to "Desktop".
For XP:
- Click on "Right Click Desktop / Properties/Desktop tab/ Customize Desktop" .
- Select the items that you want to show or hide.
